Beginner's Guide

This page is specifically designed for those who have never done a survey or sweepstakes online.  There is a lot to take in and at first you will be so slow that it may not seem worth it.  Just like everything in life you will get faster and better AND start making hundreds of dollars a month!  This page will help you get started and tell you everything you need to know.  It is divided into general categories so it is easy to find everything you could ever want to know.

Step 1 - Pick a Site
This is the first and most important step.  Picking a bad site will result in a lot of wasted time, and worst of all you might not even get any cash that you earned.  A lot of sites hope you get frustrated and quit after just a few surveys.  I recommend that you stick with the sites featured here.  They generally have the best offers.

Step 2 - Make Money: Surveys
This is generally the main money maker on any site.  On Treasure Trooper you can complete up to 8 daily surveys, but other sites may just list all the surveys you pre-qualify for (like MySurvey).  It depends on the site, but you shouldn't bother doing any that pay less then .50 cents unless they are really short.  These are really easy to do; just be mostly truthful when answering questions.  Once you reach the end and click on the final submit you should get credit shortly.

It is possible to just blindly click through, but watch out for accuracy questions like "please select 10 for this question".  Get just one of these questions wrong, and it will kick you off the survey.

Step 3 - Make More Money: Cash Tasks
Most sites offer cash tasks, which are basically intelligence tasks.  This is stuff computers cannot do easily.  The cash task will have some sort of training, and it will tell you what to do.  It can involve anything from judging search results to finding pictures.  It is possible to fail these!  They have accuracy questions with the actual questions, and if you do not awnser correctly it will fail you.  This means that you cannot blindly click through like they're surveys.  But there is an upside: some cash tasks can pay 1-3 dollars for 15 minutes of work.  That's not too bad!

Step 4 - Make Even More Money: Cash Offers
Cash offers are a bit different than surveys, although they may contain a survey of sorts within the offer.  Generally, these are offers where you get a bit of cash for signing up for a specific site or service.

This is also where some shady offers hide, but cash offers are generally worth it.  Just follow the rules in the Safety Page and there should not be any problems!  Don't forget about picking up a quick 25 dollar gift card for the paid trial offers!

Step 5 - Taking Advantage
It is important to take advantage off all the extra stuff sites have to offer.  These vary, but there are always certain extra offers.  For example, some sites might offer you a daily high paying paid to click, or they might give a reward for just sitting in the chat room.  Treasure Trooper, for example, will give you an extra chance to win a pearl for every cash offer that approves while you are in their chat room.

Again, take advantage of everything!

Step 6 - Stick With It
Most people are discouraged because they spend an hour or two messing with the site to make only a dollar or two.  Surveys, like every thing in life, take time to master.  Consider your first few days training, and don't expect to make 100 dollars in a day.  Making 100 bucks a month is an easily obtainable goal and requires you to make just 3.33 dollars a day, which is less than an hour of work.
